Why this website is not served over HTTPS?

These days, you will see most websites served using secure connections.
Why don't I do that?

That's because most retro systems wouldn't be able to access it, either due to uncompatible browser cyphers or a lack of recent certificate authority chains.

Serving static content via HTTPS is pointless. There's no authentication or any other kind of sensitive data going through this connection. You are just vising some blog entries and viewing some old car pics.

I strongly believe that we must keep the web should be accessible to every connected device. No matter if it is the latest iPad, or the jankiest of 386s.

That is the reason why most of my personal projects are not and have never been served over HTTPS. :)
